My Little Songbird is a dream come true, as we are parents to 4 children, and are always on the lookout for beautiful, useful toys that inspire creativity and keep the children active and and learning.
Our desire is that we can show Jesus, and His love to whoever we meet, through this little venture of ours, and bring a spark of joy into their lives. Each toy that we create and ship out is made with a lot of love and care, and we pray you will be blessed by the smiles on your little ones faces as they interact, explore, and learn while using our toys.
We also have the privilege of being able to use our proceeds to support a Ministry called "His Little Feet" which takes orphaned and vulnerable children, under their wings, and gives them schooling and teaches them about Jesus. This is something we are so excited about and hope to do more of in the future as our shop grows.
All of our teether designs, and toys start out as a drawing on our board, and over a few months time the finished product becomes a beautiful piece of maple wood, in our hands, ready for you! We use maple wood and sand our toys as smoothly as possible, sealing them with organic coconut oil to protect the wood and give them a beautiful, healthy finish.
Our wooden Play Gyms, were born in the spring of ‘19, when I noticed there didn’t seem to be any options out there that were CPSC compliant (Consumer Product Safety Commission). Since your baby's safety is important to us, we began working on creating our own Play Gym that would be sturdy, not have any small parts, and pass all testing standards.
You will be sure to LOVE our Play Gyms as they are easy to assemble, have ZERO small parts and can be put together in a matter of seconds. We love how they can be left in a living area or nursery and simply add beauty to the room, without needing to be tucked away when company arrives. Another thing that sets our Play Gym toys apart is that all of our toys are made right here in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and can be removed from the bar when baby outgrows the gym, and attached to any car seat handle, stroller handle, or similar places, so your little one can get even more hours of fun from them!
We have fallen in love with the small shop community and feel so incredibly blessed with this opportunity to have a small part in your home, by offering toys that inspire creativity, spark imagination, and help babies as they develop their fine motor skills.
